It is super easy to make your own pizza dough.  And it is so much less expensive to boot even if you use organic ingredients.

Here is my basic recipe:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees and drizzle olive oil all over your baking sheets.

1 3/4 cups H2O

4 t yeast

1.5 t salt

2 t sugar

*about 5 plus cups of flour*

*You really need to look at the stickiness as you add flour.  You want it to be slightly sticky (like Pillsbury dough style biscuits) but not so sticky that it gets gummy in your hands.  I love my stand mixer for doing this but it is only slightly more effort to do by hand.

1.  Mix together flour, yeast, salt and sugar.  Add H2O and use a wooden spoon/mixer to mix.  Cover the bowl and let sit until it has doubled in volume.

2.  Oil two 13 X 18 inch baking sheets.  Divide the dough and stretch in half.  If dough is too sticky, dust w/ flour or oil your fingers.  The dough should look like this

Add sauce and your choice of toppings like 1.5 cups of cheese per pan and lots of roasted veggies.

Bake for 15-20 minutes in a 450 degree oven.  Rotate the pans midway through.
