I am passionate about cooking. Consuming food with loved ones is a favorite part of my day. I incorporate a lot of veggies and natural foods in my diet and recipes. I feel great when I eat well so I generally try to avoid hydrogenated oils and highly processed foods. I also try to consume local and organic whenever possible however, my options are greatly limited in the winter. I love comfort foods, spicy foods and rich foods. Living in rural Northern Michigan, most of my recipes use ingredients which are easily obtained at a grocery store. I will show you the ways I am able to incorporate lots of produce and create some pretty tasty and flavorful concoctions. I also include recipes which should please most people such as cupcakes and cookies. 🙂 I hope you find something here that adds happiness to your days!
